Vera Natura forms part of the clothes free village of privately owned apartments at Vera Playa. The village is a collection of self-contained private residential apartment complexes, each with its own facilities, swimming pools and sub tropical gardens. Vera Natura has direct access to the beach, and to the beach restaurant, both are set on the seafront.
Vera Natura is located in the Vera Basin, an area classified as desert due to its low rainfall sited between Almeria to the southwest and Cartegena to the northeast. The area is largely undeveloped apart from the coastal towns and villages. Vera Playa (meaning Vera Beach) is a town in its own right and has a variety of shops bars and restaurants and even its own clothes free zone. Here you will find Vera Natura, set directly on the seafront. The summers here are long and hot; the winter months are milder but with temperatures often reaching the 20s, even in mid-winter. Location and Direction Maps
Vera Playa Beach is fine sand and officially clothes free. The official clothes free area stretches for about 1 km to the north of Vera Natura. To the south the area has been developed and is used by more traditional tourists. It is however possible to walk for about 5 km along the beach to the fishing village of Garrucha but you will need to take clothes! There are several beach bars, sun-bed hire and boats for hire too both inside and outside the clothes free area.
Within the complex you may be clothes free 24/7. While you may be clothes free outside the complex, with it being a public area, many visitors choose not to. You may access the beach at Vera Natura without needing to dress.
There is a large outdoor pool, a children’s pool, a even a heated indoor pool which is popular in the evenings and the cooler months. On site there is also a library and a boule court. This is a quiet residential complex. Within Vera Natura there is not much in the way of entertainments but locally there are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and sights to see.
